Dog Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful, clean, and spacious sites, along with a friendly atmosphere and proximity to Nolin Lake, making it a popular choice for visitors. Many reviewers enjoyed the quiet environment, well-maintained facilities, and the opportunity for outdoor activities such as swimming and watching sunrises. However, some concerns were raised about restroom ventilation, occasional inconsiderate behavior from other campers, and the need for better campground supervision.

My boyfriend and I just spent one night here to get away from the city for a little bit. We were right by the water and had a great view. It was clean and our neighbors were very friendly. Don't plan on using your phone here though, because there is no service! Would come down here again and bring kayaks next time!

we reserved our site without having seen the campground, we ended up needing to arrive a day earlier and were able to add the same site to our reservation. big, clean sites, very friendly and helpful camp hosts, the bath house was very clean and well maintained the shower especially! very family friendly campground, beautiful lake for boating or kayaks. We stayed at DOg Creek to go to Mammoth Cave, 30 minutes away. we will definitely stay there again when in the area! Very close to all the cave tours.
