Dog Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful, clean, and spacious sites, along with a friendly atmosphere and proximity to Nolin Lake, making it a popular choice for visitors. Many reviewers enjoyed the quiet environment, well-maintained facilities, and the opportunity for outdoor activities such as swimming and watching sunrises. However, some concerns were raised about restroom ventilation, occasional inconsiderate behavior from other campers, and the need for better campground supervision.

For tent camping, I'm not a big fan of sleeping on crush gravel and it is hard to drive stakes through the gravel. I would recommend spreading trash cans throughout the campground.

Campground was clean, all sites that I could tell were very well-maintained.
The Volunteers on-site, the Thompson's were very welcoming to and helpful if we had any questions, will definitely try to return again next year!!
