Dog Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful, clean, and spacious sites, along with a friendly atmosphere and proximity to Nolin Lake, making it a popular choice for visitors. Many reviewers enjoyed the quiet environment, well-maintained facilities, and the opportunity for outdoor activities such as swimming and watching sunrises. However, some concerns were raised about restroom ventilation, occasional inconsiderate behavior from other campers, and the need for better campground supervision.

We have stayed on multiple sites. Cell service for Verizon, no bars for AT&T. Mark and his Team of camp hosts are awesome. Park and fire pits are kept clean. Clean bath houses. Quiet time is observed.

This is a really great campground, but there are a few things to keep in mind if you are tent camping. First, though the tent camping area is beautiful, it is also a bit of a ways from the restrooms/shower and there are no paths to easily get from one to the other. Second, make sure you use a tarp under your tent. The camping area is the same as for the RVs, so you will be putting your tent directly onto sharp, jagged, gravel. But, as long as you know what you're getting into, the area is lovely and right on the river-lake. It is all very clean and well maintained. We would certainly stay again.
