Dog Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful, clean, and spacious sites, along with a friendly atmosphere and proximity to Nolin Lake, making it a popular choice for visitors. Many reviewers enjoyed the quiet environment, well-maintained facilities, and the opportunity for outdoor activities such as swimming and watching sunrises. However, some concerns were raised about restroom ventilation, occasional inconsiderate behavior from other campers, and the need for better campground supervision.

Upon arriving I had issues with my campsite availability. I called Recreation.gov and was told that I would need to call a COE number— I was given the runaround. Recreation.gov was no help— disappointed!

Excellent campground! Nice areas, sites on the small side but it wasn’t very crowded when I was there so super nice!

The host made our trip wonderful. Karen and Mark were very helpful in finding us a beautiful place by the lake. Also the volunteers, John and Debbie are great people. Sadly, I will miss going to Dog Creek due to they will no longer have hosts.
