The layout of site 18(I think) was odd, could not reach hose so luckily we could move sites. We left early to be closer to attractions

Dog Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful, clean, and spacious sites, along with a friendly atmosphere and proximity to Nolin Lake, making it a popular choice for visitors. Many reviewers enjoyed the quiet environment, well-maintained facilities, and the opportunity for outdoor activities such as swimming and watching sunrises. However, some concerns were raised about restroom ventilation, occasional inconsiderate behavior from other campers, and the need for better campground supervision.

We could not fit a 45 ft motor home one the spot they said we could. No internet or cellular service to change/modify reservation at the campground. We drove to family dolla( at their recommendation)r and still no service. (5 mi away) We ended up leaving and going to a different campground.

It would be nice if they cut the grass more. Got eaten up with chiggers. Bath house dirty. Something needs to be put out for ants...they are taking over and even get into the camper. People working the front are not friendly at all. We have been coming here for years and this is the worst year up to now.

Good sight but if it rains it’s like a river running through the site and stays wet for days after a rain and has wash out ditches in the drive getting to the spot to park. The park only mows the grass once a month grass was over knee high, bathrooms stay dirty, the trash dumpsters have broken glass and dumpster water and grease all over the ground by the dump station, if you need help good luck campground is run by volunteers who only are around 2 hours a day. It’s sad it used to be a nice place to go but all the campgrounds at Nolin and Rough River have gone down hill in the past 2 years and from the way it sounds not gonna get better.
