Dog Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful, clean, and spacious sites, along with a friendly atmosphere and proximity to Nolin Lake, making it a popular choice for visitors. Many reviewers enjoyed the quiet environment, well-maintained facilities, and the opportunity for outdoor activities such as swimming and watching sunrises. However, some concerns were raised about restroom ventilation, occasional inconsiderate behavior from other campers, and the need for better campground supervision.

I modified my reservation and paid $20 so that I could move to a lot with some shade since I couldn’t get an electric lot, no one was in the office to check and see about the modification so I wasted $20. I went to the people that I thought was working and they never did go to the office and check to see if the modification came through- and wasn’t able to get a refund from it either. People need to be in the office at the front of the park during it’s business hours- and not out swimming, boating or doing whatever else

We have noted it is rundown compared to when they had full time host. Mowing isn’t kept up. Bathrooms aren’t as clean. No one around to ask ?s. We never saw any of the volunteer hosts. We really hate how it has deteriorated without them.

We have been going to Dog Creek campground for years and absolutely love it but the last 2 years the upkeep has been terrible! The shower house has gotten better but the grass cutting has not! We have dogs that need to walk in the grass due to the road being so hot and we can’t do that because the grass is up to your knees! You can’t get from one campsite to another without getting full of chiggers! Not to mention the gravel site has grass and weeds growing in it! They raised the prices, kicked out the regulars and then stopped cutting the grass! This is absolutely ridiculous! Was not a happy camper!
