Dog Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful, clean, and spacious sites, along with a friendly atmosphere and proximity to Nolin Lake, making it a popular choice for visitors. Many reviewers enjoyed the quiet environment, well-maintained facilities, and the opportunity for outdoor activities such as swimming and watching sunrises. However, some concerns were raised about restroom ventilation, occasional inconsiderate behavior from other campers, and the need for better campground supervision.

Site A 008 was a beautiful location. Wish we had longer than 1 night there. Had both water and electric on site, which was helpful. Didn't need to use the clean out station. Beach appeared clean and well kept. Camp hosts very friendly and full of southern hospitality. Overall will hope our travels take us to this area again so we can stay longer next time.
