Campground is well maintained. Bathrooms are clean, but need some cosmetic updates. Hosts are friendly and present in the campground. This visit 5/2023 we did notice several off leash, but well controlled dogs. Hadn’t encountered that before at this campground.

Site 13 is nice but a little uneven. It's spacious & looks out onto the parking lot on one side & the lake on the other. None of the campsites are right on top of each other. The host is very friendly. The bathrooms need quite a bit of work but overall we really like the calm, quiet vibe of Hurricane Creek.

The campground and site were very nice. We didn't get to enjoy them because of the very windy conditions.

Nice place. Tent site. Zero signal at all with T-Mobile. Lost it half way there from the highway. Having electric was a nice surprise. Good view over the lake. Bathrooms were a little dated/worn but totally fine. Decent amount of pre-dawn activity with people hooking up utility trailers. Pretty close to where I was parked so wasn’t sure what they were doing at first.

You take 20 miles of narrow but well maintained county roads to get here. Interior roads were fine and the service was friendly. Our site was technically a pull through but the asphalt was in such bad shape on the front side we used it as a back in, tight but doable. Our site was quite sloped and we were not level even with 3 tire blocks and full rear extension of our levelers. Utilities worked well and the dump station was clean and easy yo use. The park was noisier than most, both road noise and several campers playing loud music easily heard 4 sites away. The lake area is pretty. Bathrooms were clean but old and clearly needing renovation. Acceptable overall but when we are in this area again we would look elsewhere.

A beautiful place to relax and refresh! My third trip here to meet my brother and sister (in-law) who frequent this campground.

Beautiful campground and very quiet.
Was very windy and chilly, but was still a great trip with my daughter, my grandson and his family. Will be back when it is a little warmer. 🙂
