Hurricane Creek Campground offers a beautiful lakeside experience with clean facilities and friendly staff, making it a favorite for many visitors. Guests appreciate the spacious and well-kept sites, with many enjoying scenic views and a quiet atmosphere. However, some have noted issues with site accessibility, narrow roads, and the need for improvements in the bathhouse and certain sites. We really enjoy camping at Hurricane Creek. We have stayed here/camped here for past 5 years or so. Many of the sites are very good. They have added some gravel, some new fishing tables, picnic tables in sites. The managers of the campground are nice and helpful. We buy the firewood from them at the campground. We really like staying on the front sites as you come in on the right. We also like, no. 18 and 25. There are a few on the back side that we just don't prefer due to the view. We enjoy looking at the water. We highly recommend anyone to give Hurricane Creek a chance. You will be pleased. It's a smaller campground, which we have grown to really like!!! We prefer wooded lots and less crowded places to camp, within an hour and 15 mins. from our home.

Great little campground. This campground is more suited for travel trailers not so much for a fifth wheel. Lots of drop offs caused by culvert and excessive height asphalt not properly backfilled. Bathrooms were very clean. Camp host was very nice!

We met up with some of our family who have been coming here for years. We absolutely loved it. We extended our stay and actually had 3 different spots. My husband likes 44 the best. The bathrooms were clean. The laundry tho small was sufficient. My cousins all fish so much use was made of the ramp. We did get to kayak once . It rained a lot but that wa s ok. We are planning on coming back next year. The gate keeper was awesome. The playground was cool. I watched some kids playing there while I was doing laundry. The lady who cleaned the bathrooms was very nice. Thank you so much

Site 43 is nice and flat. The only issue was with the 34 foot RV trailer backed in there is not enough room to get the waste caddy beside the dump valves and roll it out.

We loved this campground. We snagged a spot on the water and it was nice. The bathhouse is a bit dated, but clean. They have their own boat ramp with parking, which is awesome for this part of the lake. It's about 30 minutes from the nearest town (Cadiz) bu the Handy Corner Market just down the road has grocery items and adult beverages if needed. Also The Fishing Hole restaurant is awesome! We will definitely be returning.

Our GPS took us right to the gate. Approach was down a lot of two-lane country roads. The sites were separated by forested areas. We were on the back of the park on a site where the table area was a couple of steps lower than the trailer site. Power was 50 amps and reliable. We went kayaking launching and recovering at the boat ramp. Stores and restaurants are few and not near the campground. There was a floating restaurant a mile or so away by boat in a big marina. Firewood pricing was economical, an unusual thing. When moving around the "hilly" part of the sites be wary of the ditches alongside of the road and the ditch crossings to get to you site. Not a real problem unless you drop a trailer tire into one.

There are a few campsites that have bad excess to. Hurricane Creek was told about this opening weekend in April. Sure 21 and 23 are in bad shape. Nothing has been done and this is June the first. Just needs some gravel and leveling
