Nice beach area and very woodsy. But the sites are not very big rig friendly...you would think the pull thru sites would lean towards big rigs and 5th wheels, but no way. They are not level and short turning angles. I saw many people struggle with getting in. Other than that nice place if a little TLC would be done to the sites.

Very nice place for our first time...big spot we had, lots of shade, quiet, near the water. my only complaint was there was no walkway to beach you had to go through tent camping site to go to swim area. I felt like there needs to be a designated path but there wasn't so everyone walk through and disturb the campers. felt very weird

Beautiful, rural campground on the lake. Spot 19 is hard to back into and there was a heap of dead mayflies that caused a bad smell. Even with that, we had a peaceful time and it was pleasant. We would recommend and go back.

This park was mostly gravel but it is a great getaway for those of us who like to get away. The 5 days we were there were very quiet. The park managers make the rounds regularly and that may contribute to good behavior, plus there did not seem to be an abundance of young campers that like to get rowdy. The only 2 down sides bedsides the gravel are no sewer hookup at sites and the geese leave a lot of scat.

A visit to this US Army Corp Campground in the late fall along the lake was pleasant and relaxing. Many sites were occupied but it seemed that the campers were not ready to enjoy the cooler fall temperatures.

Site #47 should NOT be used!! Entirely too steep to park a camper! Website has no photo of actual site so you don't know what you're getting until it's too late. A few other sites were almost as bad. Entire campground needs site work to make them more useable. Also - only restroom building had what appeared to be sewage on top of the ground! Just disgusting! Campground location was fine but our group won't be going back for the above reasons.
