Site was so unlevel that he first step to get into the camper was a full 24". In order to make it easier to level the camper the door to the camper was well past the actual site.

Number 5 is a great spot. The view is great. You are able to see up the lake from 5 if no tent is on number 6 or 7. It’s worth the twelve dollars to rent the tent spot of number 6. It is about 8 feet from the camper and you can hear every word they say plus a tent is right at your side. It is too close. Tent spots rent rent mostly on weekends and this allows you to sit on number 6 and view the lake instead of tent city.

Hurricane Creek is our home away from home. It is so relaxing, laid back, and the sites are wonderful and not close together. The 3PM checkout is wonderful, and almost feels as though you get half a day extra there - which you definitely need because it’s just so beautiful. No other campsite we have ever gone to compares. Highly, HIGHLY recommend!
