This was not our first time visiting Hurricane Creek. We always enjoy our time spent there.

The site was uneven, on a hill, hard to get our small motorhome into, and no reception. We informed the camp host and moved to another site on day 2. I called Recreation. Gov. To confirm the new site. Thought all was well until other campers came and said it was their site very rudely. The camp host came and VERY rudely said you have to leave. I said I will call Recreation.gov. I wanted to get it straightened out. He was horrible rude and I felt threatened. He started gathering our items together and unplugged the electric. I had a cake in the oven ! He was rude and then said we can see about getting you another site to which I said no. I was already afraid of him with his actions! I NEVER NEVER plan to go back there in my life!

We had a great water view. This was the quietest campground we have stayed at. The beach area was very shallow--it was only 3 feet deep out at the rope. Everyone we met was very friendly. It seemed most sites were level. There is a gas station nearby that sells ice.
The Land Between the Lakes area is nearby.
They need to work on the bathrooms. When we got there Friday afternoon, there was a dead moth on the sink by the soap dispenser. It was still there Saturday morning, There was also a dead cricket in the toilet stall Saturday morning. They were both still there Saturday night.
Sunday morning--still there as well as Sunday night and Monday morning. The bathrooms had not been cleaned all weekend!!!!! It was FINALLY cleaned Monday morning. Floors were mopped, toilet paper and soap replenished, and counters wiped down. We liked the park other than the uncleaned bathrooms.
