Not much parking in some spots. We parked our golf cart in a gravel area beside our camper and was told we had to move it. They stated there is no parking on the grass. No grass has ever grown there because its gravel ??? But all in all, it was a good experience.

I have been to many campgrounds and met many amazing and friendly people, but the people who run this campground are exceptional! They were so kind and wonderful during my stay. They made me feel right at home from the moment I pulled into the campground and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was wonderful. They even helped me secure a reservation for the future. The park was beautiful, peaceful, bathrooms well kept, and views were stunning. Grand Rivers is a great town to visit and from now on I will always be choosing this campground when I go.

We always have a great time at the Canal campground. How ever this time there were too many E-bikes and the kids riding them were going too fast and were reckless.

Nice gated campground with tons less traffic from golf carts than the place down the highway, Hillman Ferry . It’s a requirement there for the lazy . Bathrooms could be updated on the fisherman’s loop and maybe. Fish clean station at the boat ramp instead of each camping space . Lazy fosbea. Just tossing carcasses right t back into the water at the campground next to their tied up boats. Makes no sense other than lazy which is Kentucky typical . It’s still 4 stars if you know these things in advance .
