We were there the last weekend of the season and there were a lot of no-shows all around us, so it was a very relaxing stay. The site was right next the beach, but the water was way down, so much so that the entire marked swimming area was dry. Needless to say the grandkids found quite a few interesting fish skeletons that weekend.

The Canal Campground is our favorite. The restrooms are really nice, my Grandbabies like the playground and the beach is kept clean. The attendants are really nice and helpful. There’s just to many things to list.

Our particular site along with several others we saw had been refreshed. New (level) gravel, new picnic tables and fire pits. We always enjoy staying here.
