This was my second stay at the COE Canal campground on Lake Barkley. Our site was a pull through, relatively level, with power and water. The dump station was easy to access when we left. It is convenient to the interstate, but take time to visit Land Between the Lakes, with a chance to see Bison and Elk herds.

Great location for visiting Tulsa. Went downtown twice and had a great time. The campsite was wide and easy to back into.

I was only here overnight. I stopped during my road trip to Florida. It was dark when I drove in and I slept in my truck. I had a tiny fire for a couple hours and went to bed. There was a skunk that was digging around the leaf brush near my site but it seemed to be used to people. You never smelled it! I had a view of Barkley Lake and the sunrise the next morning from my site was gorgeous! The birds were singing beautifully and everything else was silent. So although I didn't stay long, that was the best of the 3 nights I spent on the road; one of those 3 nights were in a hotel as well!

A very nice campground. I just wish it would stay open until mid November.

I saw this site was available early in the season and snapped it right up. The view was great, right on the canal, and the site was within a half-inch of level. We'll definitely keep an eye out for any available sites on this loop.
