I’m retired, widowed and a grandmother who travels with her german shepherds and we enjoyed our stay. There were plenty of dog people around us, so I think they understood the occasional barking from my dogs. There weren’t many trash receptacles for disposing of the waste the dogs made, but we made out.
If it had been warmer, we might have had a better time, but I enjoyed being away from home for our three day weekend. I was fortunate enough to sight a bald-eagle soaring overhead while enjoying a sunny afternoon view of the canal.
It’s a nice place to relax and we may return sometime.

We love staying at the canal, it is always clean and there is grocery and restaurants close by and the cell service is great there. We was very unhappy that the washers or dryers was gone for some reason

Canal is one of our favorite campgrounds. It is very clean and quiet. The restroom facilities are always clean and well maintained.
