Canal is a wonderful campground. We always love our visit to the area.
I have been camping for most of my life. I could not believe the number of campers who built a fire in the fire pit and then left the fire unsupervised. They built the fire then went inside their camper or got in their car and left the campgrounds. Also, there was 20 mph winds during this time.

I had site 33 Fisherman’s Row, and it was perfect. It was spacious and level. The entire campground looked clean and well taken care off. I did not use the bathhouse. Perfect location to explore everything that Land between the Lakes has to offer. There is a Planetarium and Bison and Elk preserve. I will definitely return.

The space was nice. It is on top of a small hill, but levels off at the top of the drive. Across the road are a couple of sites that slightly obstruct the view of the water, but it was a quick and easy walk to watch the sunrise from over the lake.

Absolutely loved our experience here. plenty of areas to walk. The dog park was exceptionally clean. The shower and bath house was relatively close and clean to all the sites. Thank you so much for making it a amazing trip.

Campground is really nice, bathroom/shower house was extremely clean. The only thing I would change is people constantly driving around in golf carts. We had the same people passing our campsite six or seven times a day. Camping is a time to unplug and enjoy nature. All the golf carts makes it feel like you’re in a subdivision with constant traffic.

Our site was quite unlevel but in a beautiful spot. Lots of barking dogs in our area and many golf carts driving through often. We enjoyed seeing the northern half of the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area.
