We really enjoy staying at the Canal campground. It is peaceful and shady! The only downside is the Beach loop bathhouse has not had a working soap dispenser in the men’s side for three years now.

I read that site 13 is unlevel. It took almost 2 feet of stacked boards to get the front level with the back. Partly our fault. 3 days before our reservation, we got a new to us camper that was a foot longer than the old one. When they say no longer than 20 ft they mean it! Trying to leave we went too far over and bent a rim on the camper and blew a tire. So i do not recommend being above the listed length. The site was nice other than leveling issues. Very handy to the bathroom. Has a small hill to get up to the flat spot/fire pit, then 3 more steps to get to the picnic table.
