What Guests Are Saying
Eureka campground offers a beautiful, peaceful setting with excellent lakefront views and well-maintained facilities. The friendly staff and clean amenities contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, making it a favorite among visitors. While some sites may be tight for larger RVs and the location is a bit off the main highway, the overall experience is highly recommended for those seeking a tranquil camping retreat.

The site was large and near the water. Camp ground was clean and the people at the gate were friendly.

I hate to rate this only a three, as we love this campground as a whole. If you plan to use this site as a pull-thru, you might want to think again. We were a little over 6" off level at the flattest spot on the site we could find. One of the camp hosts, who were wonderful and went far beyond the call of duty, came by while we were attempting to get level asked if we had extensions for our electricity and water hose, which we did. He suggested that we back into the living area of the site and helped move the picnic table and direct us into place. Later, after setting up, our water hose was a little stretched, so he offered to lend us a 6' hose he had. That was greatly appreciated! Also, when we arrived, it was in the middle of a downpour and the position of the site between a hill and the lake made the entire site flooded. After the rain stopped, most of the water quickly dissipated, leaving a few areas of mud at the front of the site. One last problem with this site is if there is a lot of sun, you'll need to bring some kind of cover, as there is very little natural shade.
One of the good things about this site is the view. It's right on the water. It is also right in front of the bath house, so that was really convenient. We'll definitely be coming back to Eureka, but will probably be looking at a different site.

Beautiful, small but not too crowded before school lets out for summer. Watch for ticks, though.
