Eureka campground offers a beautiful, peaceful setting with excellent lakefront views and well-maintained facilities. The friendly staff and clean amenities contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, making it a favorite among visitors. While some sites may be tight for larger RVs and the location is a bit off the main highway, the overall experience is highly recommended for those seeking a tranquil camping retreat.

Campsite twenty five. Great access to the lake. Not such great access to the shower room and bathrooms. We hadn't realized there was a dedicated swimming beach, and in a future stay.I would opt for one near the beach and the bathhouse!
The camp crowned host was helpful when we checked in after hours. The after hours met , we knocked on her door. Not sure that's something she likes , but she was game to give us a hand.
We survived a shelter in place, thunderstorm in our tent. Really appreciated the gravel pad , which soaked up water.
Not something that can be helped. But since it was also a heat advisory , make sure you know that the lake is hot as a bathtub and not cool and refreshing like a mountain , like would be.
Four stars , because there is only one bathroom and it's at the bathhouse. A few outhouses would be helpful.

We stayed here for six nights and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful landscape along Lake Barkley. The campground isn't large, but the sites have fair separation and plenty of shade, which made the stay very comfortable. The crew was exceptionally kind, attentive, efficient, and truly dedicated to campers. The facilities are a bit older, but they are very well maintained and spotlessly clean. For us, it felt like discovering a true gem, and we'd highly recommend it to fellow RVers looking for a peaceful, well-run spot on the water. We'd happily return We camped at Eureka Recreation Area in a Travel Trailer.

Nice small campground. The hosts were great. The bathrooms were clean and the beach was nice. I was in Site 4 and it was full sun which was bad during the day - no where to hide.

Traveling across country, we pulled in and stayed for only 2 nights. The location, on the lake is a great place to be. Caught several fish standing at the edge of our campsite. We hung around the camp site, did some work on the camper, fished, watched the eagles fish on the lake.

Beautiful well maintained campground! Clean facilities and helpful camp management. Loved being right on the water! If looking for a hike in the woods may not be ideal, trail not well maintained but would be an adventure if you tried it.
