What Guests Are Saying
Eureka campground offers a beautiful, peaceful setting with excellent lakefront views and well-maintained facilities. The friendly staff and clean amenities contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, making it a favorite among visitors. While some sites may be tight for larger RVs and the location is a bit off the main highway, the overall experience is highly recommended for those seeking a tranquil camping retreat.

This was the best campground I have ever been to! We traveled from Michigan and didn't really know what to expect. The campground is REALLY CLEAN! It is also really quiet and serene. Just what we were hoping for! All the sites are close to the water. Its impossible to get a bad site, just preferable ones! Kentucky changed the price on out of state fishing licenses, which are 15$ per day now, but the fishing on Barkley Lake was worth it! We had a huge fish dinner our second night there thanks to that lake. It has a very small beach area and small playscape for the kids, as this place is geared towards the retired crowd. We were told that there is a campground on the other side of the lake geared more for the families with younger kiddos. But this place is wonderful either way. The bathrooms were immaculate and the staff are beyond friendly and accommodating. It is my favorite campground now!

Other than having no shade and being hot, thru no fault of ACE. The park was 5 star and the view from site # 5 was breathtaking especially at sunset.

Oh my- the perfect place to hunker down for the July 4th holiday weekend. We tend to avoid camping during popular times but this year, it couldn’t be avoided. But we really hit the jackpot in finding this little gem. It’s a small campground with great views of the lake even if you aren’t on a lake side site. One way traffic helped reduce the noise and for whatever reason this section of lake Barkley is not preferred by boaters so it was quiet. Bath house was above average clean and I saw crews routinely keeping it looking good. Location was centralized so if you forgot something, stores were not too far of a drive. Perfect in almost every way I can think of!
