It was a great gathering place for our group. Area was relatively clean. We tried to leave it in same or better condition than we found it.

Great place for our family picnic, volleyball, basketball,swimming areas. Large open area around shelter for kids. Only problem is parking, only allow so many vehicles. Non-family park in area reducing parking for family. Pay parking is close.

From Nashville, take I-24 West to Exit 40. Turn left on 62 and then
right on Highway 295. Follow Highway 295 to recreation area entrance.
The campground is accessible via I-24, with Exit 40 leading to KY-62 and then connecting to Highway 295.

2 mi drive to downtown Kuttawa (about 5 min)
