What Guests Are Saying
Moutardier Campground offers beautiful lake views, well-maintained sites, and a friendly atmosphere, making it a popular choice for campers. Many reviews highlight the cleanliness of the facilities and the helpfulness of the staff and volunteers. However, some bathrooms require maintenance, and there are occasional complaints about campsite spacing and noise from nearby boaters, but overall, guests express a strong desire to return.

Restrooms were not cleaned until the weekend and we arrived on Tuesday . No toilet paper ! When we was there the grass was high & had not been mowed in a while ! Sites are not level ! It takes a lot of blocks to level side to side !

Campground is well kept. I went back after not being there for iver 20 years and was still the place I remember but still kept up. It was great for my children to experience the same place i used to as a child.

I'm 41 years old and I've been camping in this same campground since I was 5. It's my second home.

Beautiful lake. Fairly private site with lake view. Convenient to Mammoth Cave NP (30 minutes)
Only downside- my husband said the bathroom wasn’t cleaned in 3 days (1 clogged toilet).

I mentioned a couple years ago that the golf carts are starting to grow more and more It is getting bad and dangerous. The voulenteer rides their grandkids around all day themselves joy riding. I have never for years seen the volunteers do anything waste of money for a sewer lot. Also bathrooms are very hot and stuffy soap not kept up. Been going there 42 years. Love the campground itself. Really hate seeing golf carts taking over getting

Beautiful view and fairly easy access to Nolin Lake. We were able to launch our kayaks from our site via a little hike down a hill. Some shade. A little leery of dead tree on the site. Bath house was a one minute walk away.
