Laurel Branch is a beautiful and peaceful campground with attentive staff and clean facilities, making it a great spot for family camping. While some areas, like fire pits and bathrooms, could use more regular upkeep, the campground's scenic views and proximity to activities such as fishing and kayaking are highlights. It was raining all day and an ACTIVE FLOOD WARNING was alert. I had to cancel... so because I canceled last minute they charged the 10$ late cancelation fee and another 20$ cancelation fee. So I paid 30$ for nothing. I even called recreation.gov and they didn't know what to do.. said it was up to the camp host.

We’ve stayed at the campground several times. Always a good experience, even with the lake having been drawn down to such an extremely low level, we still had a very enjoyable stay.

Wonderful place as a campground, but beware of campground scavengers at your absence.

Well my spot 52 would have been better if the electricity would have worked but it didn’t so our heating system didn’t work because it was really cold that night! Also you need to plant some trees to shade the spot and block the wind! Other than that it was Fair
