Laurel Branch is a beautiful and peaceful campground with attentive staff and clean facilities, making it a great spot for family camping. While some areas, like fire pits and bathrooms, could use more regular upkeep, the campground's scenic views and proximity to activities such as fishing and kayaking are highlights. Overall, many visitors express a desire to return despite minor issues, appreciating the friendly atmosphere and convenient location.

My family stayed at Site C53. The view was absolutely beautiful and was right on the water. This site was the last on the loop and was a short walk from the beach. There is a restroom with a flushing toilet within walking distance. The shower houses had private rooms with toilet, sink, and shower. The showers were clean, had hot water, and the shower head provided good water pressure.

We were there in August 2020 and stayed on site C34/35, it was an awesome location!! Right on the water. We got there a little late and were greeted by the camp host Angela as the office was closed. She was super friendly and got us to our site. We bought a fishing license for the week ($35 each person) and well worth it. We caught lots of bluegills and had an awesome week. We will be back.
