Fall Creek Campground

We enjoyed our first stay here. Glad that we did have a site that offered some shade. A small campground and no traffic. Disappointed that other campers had dogs that were not on leashes which wandered into our site as well as playing loud music for the three days that we were there. We were there just after 4th of July and although no fireworks should have been set off in the park we saw a lot of debris and trash down by the boat ramp. The campground hosts were very friendly and we enjoyed meeting them.

Better than expected.

Only 10 sites! Quiet and beautiful. Very clean. Backing into your site and turning around will be challenging for bigger rigs (over 30’) and the sewer dump only works for you if your outlet is at the back of your camper. We were unable to dump as we would have needed 25’ of hose!!!

Very nice campground for all ages. Sites grounds bathrooms are always clean. Many of the other campers are frequent visitors so they shared some tips for getting into your site. I have a 37 ft fifth wheel and all the sites face down the hill. After many attempts to maneuver one of the campers told me there was a back in turnaround further inside the campground. Viola did that then backed into the site in one try. The campground is very pretty restful and scenic. There was no late night noise and I felt very comfortable and safe in the rural setting. The boat launch was a great plus and the playground is very modern and safe. The park attendants were very helpful and available but also reasonable and flexible about parking our extra truck and boat. It’s only 10 minutes to shopping in Monticello. Next trip down this way this will definitely be my choice. Did I say reasonable rates per night??? Yes. And of course there is the lake almost on your door step.

Best campground in the state of KY, all sites have a great view of the lake, facilities are always clean, and the hosts are super friendly and helpful! This is like our second home, we love this place!

Host family is super nice, and facilities are always clean. Would be a perfect location if they offered full hook-ups.

Great small quiet friendly hosts

Nice small campground. Large spots all gravel. The bath house is nice and clean. They have a wonderful area for kids and the day rental is very nice. I would return again especially if we take a boat. It has its own boat ramp. The host were friendly. The one negative, they ask you not to bring wood but they did not have any to purchase. We drove to the nearest town 5 mi away still No wood.
