Lynnhurst Family Resort

From Hendersonville, TN for a 5-day getaway. Rented a lake home about 10 minutes drive from Lynnhurst Family Resort. Even though off-season and Kentucky Lake water level was quite low, they were able to accommodate us with a rental pontoon boat. Boat was nice, prices were reasonable, and all staff we encountered were 5-star friendly, accommodating, and informative. We highly recommend and hope to visit Lynnhurst again.

Our old long term resort in the area unexpectedly closed and I called Lynnhurst to inquire about a reservation for a yearly fishing trip for our group of 6. The owner Dennis called me back quickly and was incredibly helpful in describing all the accommodations and patiently answered all of my many questions and got us booked for this Oct. Check in was smooth, Dennis and family couldn’t have been more gracious and he took time to answer all our questions and was very attentive to anything we needed during our stay. Our cabins were clean and modern and the boat docks were very well kept with electric at every stall. Stopped in the restaurant for some great pizza and talked to Dennis who helped us to a condo for the next trip that was better for our large group. Our entire group couldn’t stop commenting how nice of a place it was and we can’t wait to come back again next year! Thank you Dennis for a great trip!!

Lynnhurst “glamping” was one of the best experiences I have ever had! The owners are so welcoming and helpful. I stayed there over the weekend with my family and it was amazing. The tent we stayed in was super cute and comfortable. They have fire pits, a charcoal grill, and a gas grill. I loved how private and cozy each tent was. The bathrooms and pool are super clean. This place is dog friendly and there are many fun things to do like kayaks and jet skis on the lake. The view is beautiful and you can see the lake perfectly. I highly recommend Lynnhurst family resort and can’t wait to stay there again in the future!

Rented a pontoon boat. It was our first time renting, or even driving a boat. Everyone was beyond friendly and happy to give us tips on how the boat works and to best navigate Kentucky Lake. We will definitely rent from here again next season.

Very clean and comfy nice cabin! Loved the pool and the lake (it was sad the water trampoline was no longer a trampoline). Fun to walk and drive the grounds! Every staff member we met was so nice!!!!! We will be back!!!
