The campground was very clean and it was well managed. The only issue I had is at the entrance to one area the gravel was soft and when tires of a motorcycle hit it, they sunk up and made it hard to get the bike out without dropping it. Especially on a curve and downhill drive. Also, some of the boats launching came down the hill at a pretty good rate of speed which is unsafe. I'm not a big supporter of speed bumps, but a 20MPH speed bump just after the first camp entrance on the right would slow them down before someone gets ran over. The campground itself however was in great shape, the showers were clean. I'd definitely stay here again. There is a VERY poor connection with cell service. So much so that you can't use your cell phone as a wifi even. They REALLY need a WIFI set up at the office for campers only use.

Beautiful campground, tight spaces. Some sites have phenomenal views! Very pleasant and nice until Friday night when the mufflerless navy ararrived. Extremely loud boats were only surpassed by their equally loud drop off and pick up trucks, that also seemed to not know what a muffler was! The host are very pleasant facilities were very clean!

Had to change Site we were staying on at arrival due to reserved site having too much slope to level on. Good news was the park attendants were very friendly and understanding and helped me get a different site that was very nice. Good Job.
Overall, our visit was relaxing and comfortable. Will stay there again.

Second time staying at Cumberland Point and I still love it! The grounds are so well kept and the hosts are kind, always out and helping. This campground has easy access to water via boat ramp or a walk down the hill. We like to float in the area to the left. Also great area for kayaking and paddle boarding. Not heavy boat traffic. WiFi/cell service was not as great on the right side spaces. We stayed on the left side last year and had no issues (work remotely).

We have been camping here for 40 years now. Genette and Greg are AMAZING! They are so helpful with everything and so friendly. I can't imagine camping there without them in charge. Greg helped my husband who is new to handling our 29' travel trailer. He helped my husband make sure he could turn around and then helped him back up to the dumpstation in an easier way to empty the tanks. The campground is always kept so clean and tidy too.
