Site 30 was clean & level side-to-side. The 36 foot camper was easy to get in and fit nicely. We couldn't park all the way back in the space because the water spigot was in the way of the driver's side slide. Picnic table was extra sturdy. Getting into the campground driveway was curvy and sloped so take care with a long rig. Campground was quiet and family friendly on Labor Day weekend. A few camper parents let their little 4-6 year old children run through the camp and didn't pay enough attention to the little ones crossing the street between the campground and playground. With a constant stream of trucks putting / pulling boats all day, there were a few near misses. Please be careful when driving through there. Bathrooms were well kept. Putting the boat in was a challenge when the boat traffic/waves were up. I would say it was ridiculous to try to hop onto the dock with the high waves and made it hard to level the boat onto the trailer. When it was peaceful water, it was perfect. The dump station is up-hill. The tanks on our rig are in the back. Very little drained out so we had to stop on the way home to empty the tanks. Would stay here again just maybe on a less busy weekend.

Extremely well maintained facilities, very clean. Don, the camp host, was great. Don offered me great tips and helped me spot my trailer while backing into site 11, a very tricky maneuver. The views are unmatched so if you are thinking about visiting Lake Cumberland, this is the campground to start with.

One of shower houses was closed for repair. No worries, the other was open and clean, as usual. Shower will need one cycle to warm up. Push button wait, then push button as much as needed to complete shower.
Sunsets. Moon sets, are a must @ Cumberland Point, bring camera/phone, you will want pictures.

This was one of the nicest campgrounds we've been to. It was well kept, and each site was beautifally groomed. There was evidence of work being done across the grounds, and the park manager was very accommodating and polite.
I think the sites are a little smaller than what is indicated online, so be cautious. When arriving, scope out your site before parking, as you may have to enter a different way. The campground is small, but great exercise because of the hills.
There are 2 bath houses with showers, a playground, and day use area for some boating fun.

This campground has really intrigued me to reserve more COE campgrounds. They are very well cared for, and I enjoyed supporting them.

We were at site #11 due to a recommendation online, and I must say that I think it was the best site if you want a scenic view by the lake. Overall I think all sites are very nice, just plan on getting one that's rated a bit larger than your rig. We had a 35' rig in a 40' site, and still had to park the truck sideways to fit.

Definitely recomment this campground. A beautiful and peaceful place if you want some R&R.
