Indian Creek Recreation Area

The camping location is great. Campsites situated in wilderness many spots under trees. Only bad thing is some sites about half don't have sewage hookups. No one told me not even during the registration. So be sure to ask for a site with full hookups. Otherwise everything was great.
The have bathrooms and showers. All site are concrete slabs.
All sites have fire pits. There is a beach and park for the kids. Huge lake fishing and boat launch

Loved the place! Nice and well equipped. Beware of a speed drop from 65 to 35 right before the turn to Indian Creek road.

Nice camp grounds! Easy layout and cement pads. Full hookups or just boondock if you like. We stayed 1 night while traveling and it was the perfect spot to stay. Nice and quiet.

Zero rules enforced.
I don’t care about the non stop golf cart traffic or the electric scooters that aren’t supposed to be there, but the MUSIC! We’ve camped here twice and people are so inconsiderate about how loud their music is and how late they play it! We could FEEL the bass from neighbors well past 11pm. It’s a beautiful place ruined by trashy people, will not be returning.

Beautiful lake and campground for a weekend visit. There are several beaches that allow for swimming in the lake. The campgrounds are very clean and offer a number of spots overlooking the water.
Great Lake for boating. The launch is clean and easily accessible with a suitable pier for tying off. Launch is wide enough for at least two to launch simultaneously and is well maintained. (No algae, well paved, gentle incline). I’ve launched in my 2WD mid-size truck without getting the wheels wet.
The lake is big enough to cruise, tube, knee board in the open areas with no concern for a lack of space or excessive boat traffic. If you’re into fishing, there are a number of shallow channels and cuts that allow you to navigate through and around cypress trees in quiet, undisturbed areas.
