Primeaux RV

Extremely disappointed with our experience buying a used camper from Primeaux. Multiple repairs were promised before pickup and were either not done or done carelessly.

A torn slide topper was “repaired” with tape. Five windows were detached from their frames and when we arrived for pickup they were covered in sloppy glue and still not properly attached. We were never informed about this — we discovered it ourselves.

The electric cord spool didn’t work on pickup day, so we couldn’t even bring the camper home. It had to sit there another week for them to “fix” it, and instead of repairing the issue they simply removed the spool.

After finally getting it home, we found several water lines cut and capped off, including drain lines, the ice maker line, and the toilet sprayer line. The original owners confirmed they did not do this. We also paid for a ceramic coating, yet the camper was still dirty at pickup, making us seriously question whether that service was performed at all.

This felt like corner-cutting at every turn. Very poor workmanship and zero transparency. We will not be doing business here again

We purchased a 2014 Dutch Star recently from Primeaux RV. Looked at several places but what really pulled us in was OJ Bourque! At first we left without finding the right unit then OJ went to work and found us a perfect fit for our current lifestyle. The motor home was just as OJ described. OJ was honest about a few little problems but worked hard to get to an acceptable level for delivery. The finance manager was great. We are loving our motor home and we gained a new friend in OJ. Do yourself a favor and buy from Primeaux and ask for OJ. Good and honest people!

An Amazing RV Buying Experience!

I can't say enough good things about our experience at Primeaux RV in Carencro. From start to finish, it was truly outstanding. Misty Jo was incredible—she exceeded all of our expectations. She was patient, honest, and above all, trustworthy. It's rare to find someone in sales who genuinely has your best interests at heart, but Misty Jo absolutely did.

We did run into a few issues with our new Forest River camper after purchase, but the response from Primeaux RV blew us away. The team was quick, professional, and completely supportive in getting everything resolved. Their after-sale support proved just how committed they are to their customers.

And to top it all off, when we picked up the camper, it happened to be my son's birthday—and Misty Jo surprised us with a birthday cake for him! That personal touch meant the world to us and made an already great experience truly unforgettable.

Highly recommend Primeaux RV and Misty Jo. If you're in the market for an RV, this is the place to go!

Loving our new travel trailer!!! We had the Best salesman in the business Mr. Cody and the Best Finance lady in the business Mrs.Rebecca. We visited this dealership a few times and Mr Cody took time and patience’s with us each time we wanted to look at a different camper. He was not like the normal car sales person for example that calls and calls and would get on your nerves. 😆 We had visited 6 total different dealerships and kept getting lead back to this one. We got some disrespect from a few and would never recommend them, Because you need to be careful what you say (be respectful to a new customer )and what you didn’t say ( not greeting a person a simple hello ,I’ll be with you is nice to hear when I’m spending my money with you). We just wanted to be treated right, oh well, they’re bad. They lost the sale and we got led to the right dealership and the right people.

Thank you to all that we encountered from the front desk to other people working in the facility that spoke to us and gave us a smile. It went a long ways with us, and we will always recommend you guys to our friends .

Mitch and team were awesome! Great pricing, regular follow-up to keep me informed of the status of my special ordered Brinkley Z3400 5th wheel RV, easy finance process, and awesome PDI/pick up process! Mitch made sure the hitch was changed out to the Executive Gen Y goose neck and Daniel in service trained us well on this new trailer! We are the happiest of campers!
