KOA Baton Rouge offers a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff and enjoyable amenities, such as a dog park and a small park nearby with walking tracks and sports facilities. Not as nice as othe koas, half the campground is long time living with dilapidated campers. We where only a couple spaces down them doing construction on one of the the sites. Lots of noise with skid steers and back hoes. There was also lots of noise with employees driving tractors and other vehicles around. Nice dog park and pool area tho. Bathrooms are super clean and nice.

Very cute quiet and relaxing place they have a doggy playpen that's has a agility Course for the pups to play on but I stepped in poop 💩 someone has let their doggies go out there alot without cleaning up after them. There are signs that state that it was required.

Not exactly a premium experience. Most of the amenities offered were not accessible, or in disrepair. The pool was disgusting. The pool tables were ripped and there were only two pool sticks. The bathrooms are headache inducing overly fragrant and the water was tricky, either lava hot or Antarctica cold with no in-between. The bathrooms are not ADA compliant as there is a 6 inch step, and I had to be careful to not fall or trip each time I used it. There's quite a lot of people who live there permanently and tend to speed down the road to get to their spot, I felt the traffic was far too fast for pedestrians and some speed bumps can prevent a tragedy. Someone got arrested 20 feet from our campsite and none of the staff seemed surprised. Overall I was not impressed.

The staff were very nice. Very friendly and always asking how they could help. We were there over New Year's and they had a great bonfire with music and hot dogs and smores over the fire. That was a nice touch for people who are out of town for the holidays

This is our second time staying at this KOA and we have enjoyed both our stays. All the staff we talked to were very kind and welcoming. Fun amenities, quiet, close to the interstate, and there is a small park behind the KOA that has a small walking track, a disc golf course, and pickleball courts. We had a great time and will be back.
