D'Arbonne Pointe

This place is all about a great location on the water with a nice cooling breeze. They have a nice dock on the water that surrounds the property and the pool was great to cool off our feet, I’m sure it’s well used in warmer weather. There is a potentially busy crawfish restaurant across the canal with some pretty good seafood. They are pet friendly with breed restrictions but we called and explained our dog was non-aggressive and we were allowed to book, so maybe just call if you have one of the breeds that LA isn’t fond of. This was a nice stop over, no bugs in April and the breeze felt great.

Enjoy our stays we have bi-annually. Great atmosphere in the cabins and very clean. I just really dislike the fact that the pool is hardly NEVER clean when we come which used to be our kids and grandkids favorite thing about it. Now coming over here we have to look and see if the pool is clean which it’s usually not and we are disappointed. Please please please establish better maintenance on it! That would make our experience so much better!

Was late calling in to cancel rental, called and told them I had to cancel it was after the 48hr before it was the day of and they would have had time to rent it out for the rest of the week end. I was told I would still have to pay for one day. I agree with that the day I called and canceled, But guess what never got one red cent back, call and ask them again and still the same story, So I lost over $500.00 to them which I don't think is fair I payed taxes,cleaning fee and for two nights that I never set foot in that cabin. If I had know these people was that cheap I would have never stayed at this place the first time. And yes we have stayed here many times with a camper and in there cabins but will never stay again.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Terrible customer service. Our reservation was automatically cancelled. When we called, they said it was error in their system and they would hold our reservation. We already made payment and wanted our money returned before we would book again and they agreed. Then they started sending nasty texts and demanding payment when we still did not get reimbursed for the first payment! Extremely rude and unprofessional.

We always bring our camper here and park it when we are in between work. It’s quiet and the lake view is pretty. The pool is always clean and maintained. And you can’t beat walking around to Rhett’s for boiled shrimp! Owner has always been very friendly! Would definitely recommend!
