We stayed here for 2 days as a stop to rest between travels. It was in late February so hardly any other campers were around us. So we had the park almost to ourselves with the exception of the few local full time people. This campground is a hidden gem very well maintained. The staff was great and very helpful. They have many trails to walk or ride a golf cart. A huge pool and outside area with a huge outdoor sitting area where you can watch a band play! They have a few goats n ducks in pens and a few free range peacocks. That was awesome.. it’s a family friendly place to stay I’d stay again if I’m ever through here again. We loved it here. I can’t tell you about the laundry area other than it was very clean or the shower and bathroom area as we had our own in our camper but it was very clean. Well worth the stop I’m so glad we went there.

We were in a motor coach so can’t really rate rooms . I loved the park. The only drawback was the river was rising due to heavy rains. Not Their fault. Beautiful animals and birds!! The peacocks like seeing their reflections in our coach , so watch they don’t scratch at it. Beautiful nature all around!

The family and I stayed here because we had just bought our camper trailer in TX and wanted a place to enjoy Thanksgiving on our way home. After some searching, this place popped up!
First impression is that they are very clean and accommodating. We came in after hours and they were kind enough to let us swing by the next day to pay for our stay. I’m glad we called ahead, though, because they were able to give us a site number and instructions how to get there.
My family and I LOVED all the animals on the grounds (ducks, goats, and PEACOCKS!), the trails, the AWESOME playground, and the delicious Thanksgiving spread (Turkey provided by campground and sides by campers; how fun!) The husband was living for that turkey and it was fun to try and cook our first meal over a campfire, and share it with others.
The RV spot itself was well maintained, had new gravel, was level, and the bathrooms (because we don’t have plumbing in our rv) were actually very clean and had hot water, which was really nice on a cold day (40’s and 50’s).
The ONLY complaints I have is that the bathrooms on the H side of the park were a little far. Not sure why they wouldn’t be along the road, but it’s a minor detail. And also, I was told that the rate was $50/nt over the phone but we were charged $60/nt. I didn’t notice until we had already left, otherwise I would have talked to someone about it. It also didn’t help that I discovered Passport America discounts after the fact, and that would have saved us some much needed money as well.
Overall, we had a great experience!

The cabins are cute and very clean. The staff was very friendly. The actual property is beautiful 😍 I have tent camped and cabin camped all over Louisiana and this was one of the cleanest, most well maintained campgrounds I have ever stayed at. Absolutely recommend for anyone with children, the ourside noise was practically non-existent and it's very serious about the speed limit being observed. 12 out of 10 recommend!!

My Wife ,daughter and I have been traveling for 8 months and stayed here a couple of months ago and loved it so much we doubled back. The staff are nothing short of amazing. The grounds are beautiful and well taken care of. If your on the fence on whether to stay here . Just do it . We stayed on the left side of the lake and the spots could accommodate our rig which we are 50' long. Absolutely love it here
