This is one of our favorite getaways close to home. The campground is well-kept and clean. There is a playground for the kids, and nice hiking trails. Level sites, lots of shade to be found. Can get crowded during deer season.

The park itself was good, there is no security, so people can come in and out whether campers or not, we had a couple of drunk kids driving through the campgrounds trying to start trouble. The bathrooms were filthy and had no toilet paper, the showers were dirty with no water pressure. When we arrived our trash can was overflowing from the previous campers on that site. We were there for 4 days and not once did we see a ranger. There is absolutely no security at anytime day or night, nor any signs with numbers or contact information on who to contact in case of an emergency

Nice little campground. Labor Day weekend and plenty of spaces available. Children’s playground, a small river, large fields to play. Site was level with picnic table, fire ring, and grill. Hookups on wrong side of Site #8 but it wasn’t a problem. “Wild” watermelons growing near the dump station! AT&T mobile signal was virtually non-existent, but over-the-air TV reception was great and HD quality! I think I received 37 channels!

Really nice park. Only issue is : There was not enough water pressure in the ladies restroom shower. Barely enough to get my hair wet and rinse off.

This is beautiful campground. Lovely trees, well kept. Excellent fishing. Good utilities. The restrooms are very clean although somewhat primitive. The major drawback to this place is the lack of phone service or wifi. If you go there, you are cut off. That can be good or not so good depending on your situation.
Great place about 20 minutes from Bossier City or Haughton.

Notified as we were leaving that dump was not open. Would have been helpful if communication the night before. Had yo call several places and travel 12 miles east and pay $10. Otherwise, site was s beautiful and area was nice.
