Lake Charles RV Resort is a convenient and well-maintained stop for overnight travelers along I-10, featuring paved, level sites with full hookups and clean facilities. Many guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, making check-in easy. However, some visitors express frustration over additional fees, particularly a non-refundable $20 processing fee, which has led them to seek alternative campgrounds for future visits.

Great park for an overnight stay while traveling along Interstate 10. We have a 40’ motorhome and tow an F250. No problems finding or getting into the park—you can see it from the interstate. R Journey handles their reservations. They were helpful and polite.

The couple working Check-in were also very friendly and escorted us to our wide, flat concrete pull-through site. Hookups were good with good water pressure and stable power.

Didn’t checkout the amenities which included a bathhouse, laundry and playground.

We paid $54.20 ($34.20 for the site and a $20 booking fee). They took my Good Sam number as well. Highly recommend for an overnight stay in the Lake Charles area.

Reservation was easy ✅ check in was easy ✅ and the couple was very nice ✅ spots long (our RV and tow vehicle fit great)concrete level pad with full hookups ✅ and bathroom really clean ✅ Would definitely stop again. If you are traveling I-10 outside of Lake Charles and need a great stop this is the place.!

We stopped for 1 night as we passed through the area.
The sites are paved, level, and utilities were conveniently placed with 2 location options for sewer.
The restrooms are a trailer with 3 steps to get into, but they are nice & clean.
The manager was very friendly and helpful.
The phone number is to the corporate owner. They verified they had room, but we did the paperwork on site. About $65 for the night in a pull through so we did not need to unhook.

When we first stayed here 3 years ago when it wasn’t owned by a big gouge you corporation it was priced good however now they charge a 20.00 booking fee and a 3.5 percent on using a credit card they don’t accept cash. This used to be our go to campground on our travels back to Canada in the future we will be looking for an alternative campground 😡

This RV park is a perfect spot for a one night stay off of US 10 in Iowa, Louisiana. We have been coming here for 4 years when traveling to Texas. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. The reason I gave it a low score is because there is a $20 processing fee which is non-refundable. The camping fee is very reasonable--$45 but once you add on taxes and fees the price was $70!! The $20 processing fee is ridiculous for a one night stay! We will not be coming back.
