What Guests Are Saying

Red Shoes RV Park & Chalets has potential, with well-maintained RV spots and clean bathrooms. Guests appreciated the shuttle to the casino and the amenities like fishing and swimming. However, cleanliness in the chalets and issues with pet-friendliness were noted, alongside some concerns about customer service and reservation policies.

I am NOT a picky guest. At all. The chalets have so much potential! However, the chalet is NOT clean. My feet were black when I walked around to make coffee in the morning. One of the blankets had a stain on it. The mattress topper was clean though. The floor mat had a stain on it. The reason you have white towels and bath mats in an establishment is so they can be bleached…. We had about 5 rented and all had dirty floors.

I should have looked to see if there would be cooking utensils and pots/pans. That is my bad. Honestly, everything else was great. This place would have gotten 5 stars from me if the chalet was clean. Mattress was fine. Not amazing but I’ve been on worse beds. The AC was great though! And the water pressure in the shower…. Amazing. It is very small and the shower head is very low. I’m 5’4 so it was good for me. My significant other is 6’3…. No way he could fit under it standing up.

Our friends frequent this establishment so we will likely be back. I’m gonna have to bring a swiffer and my own bedding unless we decide to stay in one of the hotels. It’s a shame because the price is great for the chalet. How is this the standard?

It’s a very nice casino, food is average, steakhouse is vastly overpriced, drinks are free(right). The RV park has good spacing, well maintained. But the grassy areas around where you set up are infested with a malicious, I guess , weed that produces a very sharp sticker. My dogs freaked out when they first came out after parking. Not Good! The dog park is ok but we looked throughout the camper area and 90% of the campground is covered with these stickers!

I pulled up a batch of them and took them to the office…, the response was “ I don’t know” then it was we heard of a site that had a problem.

Sooo I registered my complaint and I am posting that THIS IS NOT A PET FRIENDLY PLACE, DON’T !

They have no concern in solving the problem!

This is a nice campground. The bathroom is very clean and spacious. The showers have lots of room and a seat in all of them. The spots are large and flat side to side. Ours is not flat front to back, but not bad. The front desk lady was super nice. There's a shuttle to the casino. And if it wasn't cold out, we could fish in the pond. I would definitely return. The only thing I don't like is the resort fee being added to our stay, even though it is supposed to drop off.

This place is awesome as a RV park. Best one we had on our vacation. You can fish, swim, or even gamble if you want. It's super clean and maintained. Can't wait to go back. The dog park is outstanding.

Reserved a chalet weeks in advance for Memorial Weekend. When inquired about specific units we were told that it was first come first served, no reservations. On the day of check in that Friday morning I called to see was was available as we were planning on arriving within the hour. I was told there were no available chalets near the RV area, with a condescending tone, as was the first encounter that I brushed off.
I canceled my reservation as well as others in our party. We did however attend a gathering of a friend whose birthday it was, who frequents this palace. Upon traveling to the location we noticed an abundance of vacant chalets. Not sure what this was about, but I will take it as though we were not wanted there, noted will Never return where we are not welcome.
For future guest, check the tone and appreciation, and customer service you receive before spending your money here.
