Gates at McNeese RV Community

We are really thankful that we were able to find the Gates at Mcneese RV Community. It is a nice, quiet and very clean RV park. The park is well lit up at night. We've had a very good experience from the friendly front office helping us get checked in to setting up and feeling completely safe here, even taking nightly walks. We highly recommend Gates at Mcneese RV Community.

The campground is located in a great area, very close to shopping and hospitals. The property is clean and well maintained. And most importantly for me, quiet at nighttime. If you get put on the waitlist, it’s worth the wait.

front office was incredibly helpful in getting everything organized so we could move in quickly and smoothly. She is very respectful, accommodating with different schedules, and always answers questions promptly and professionally. The property itself is great and conveniently located near many restaurants and stores in Lake Charles. I really appreciate the excellent service and smooth experience.

I’m from Texas and 1st time in Lake Charles, one of the best RV parks I’ve been in for a minute. Management and team are outstanding. Site is clean and maintained. Location is perfect 10 minutes or less either direction you find what you’re location you find what you need. Found my place for a long minute…

We stayed at Gates at McNeese during McNeese Family Weekend, and it was absolutely perfect! The campground is very nice and well-kept, and everyone we met was so welcoming. It’s the ideal place to stay if you have a student at McNeese or are coming into town for university events—the stadium is just down the road, which made everything super convenient.

From the moment we arrived, the hospitality stood out. The lady at the front desk was incredibly kind; she even walked us around the grounds and showed us to our spot for the weekend. Later, the maintenance guy stopped by to introduce himself and let us know he’d be happy to take care of anything we needed. That extra effort made us feel so comfortable and at home.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this campground to any families visiting McNeese—convenient location, friendly people, and a welcoming atmosphere!
