First time going and we had a great time. Will definitely be back. Staff was great and very helpful. Enjoyed the cracklin cook off and Wayne Toups!

This park looks like so much fun! I was there in the cold off season but 2 pools and a huge slide, a lake with what looked like paddle boats? Awesome! Boo Boo the bear even came out to say hello to the guests. I went for a walk and came across long horn cows & goats (safely behind a fence) that belonged to a neighbor. The cabins are clean and comfy. I appreciate how close it was to shopping and restaurants but felt like country camping. Looking forward to coming back during the season to see the new camp store!

We booked here because we are traveling with our grandson. I thought we would have things to do with him. We got there on a Wednesday. There were only 5 campers on the short term side. I understand it is off season and older kids are in school. However, a Jellystone with not even a playground??? The putt putt course had Strands of lights on the ground, was covered in leaves and sticks, plus had paint cans on several holes. The hey ride wagon had a rotted board on it with exposed nails showing. The activities were good on Saturday, however, all were late, there was a miscommunication with the young workers. They set up in a different area than what was printed on the activities calendar. Also, the workers hadn’t done the crafts before. I happened to have done tie dye before and somewhat remembered what to do. There was no recreation director organizing things. We have been to other Jellystone campgrounds and had a great time. Things were well organized and their activities director was enthusiastic and had things working like clockwork. This was an unorganized mess. The 3 young employees were very nice and treated my grandson so special.

Overall, our experience was excellent. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, which made our stay enjoyable. We did encounter one issue with the electrical hookup-specifically, the power at the box had reverse polarity, which prevented me from connecting until it was repaired. Fortunately, the maintenance crew arrived within minutes and resolved the issue quickly, minimizing any delay.
It’s important to note that connecting to a power source with reverse polarity could have posed a serious fire hazard. I hope the park staff is investigating how the 30-amp plug was installed incorrectly, with reversed wiring and an upside-down orientation, to prevent similar issues in the future.

Place is great for kids all ages. My teens had a blast. We purchased day passes and spent about 5hrs— it could have been more but mama was tired. ;) Staff was nice and welcoming. The guys at the inflatable area were my favorite; very kind, respectful, and engaging with the kids. I love that we can bring food, snacks, chairs, etc. It makes for an affordable getaway, close to home. We have an RV and are considering booking a weekend spot in Oct when weather is a little more forgiving. Attractions/amenities are well kept and campgrounds feel overall safe. One strong recommendation is shade. This place is in desperate NEED of more shaded areas throughout. There are lots of clearances that could easily have gazebos of some sort. They just opened and I think park has potential, hence, we will definitely support again; that being said, please consider our skin sensitive population.
