Photos from website are deceiving. A campground literally a stones throw from the interstate. Not scenic at all. Full of permanent residents who were mostly not friendly, and transient workers. Not a place for a family. Restrooms were clean, but no soap in the men's restroom for our entire stay. Laundry facilities were decent. Met a very colorful transient worker with very colorful language in there. Can officially say we visited Monroe and that we will not be back.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the location is very good for getting on and off the interstate and close to amenities such as Sam's Club, restaurants, and the mall. However, the pictures on line do not accurately represent the current condition of the park or the campers in the park. The photos I am including are a more accurate representation of what to expect if you stay here. I do not typically agree when parks set age limits on campers however this park is at the other end of the spectrum with numerous campers in utter disrepair. The sites themselves are narrow and are more dirt than gravel. When I was there it was very muddy. Most of the campers in the park appear to be long-term tenants and in disrepair. Many look like "Cousin Eddie" is your neighbor. I would recommend not using their water hookups as there was a lot of debris in the water that clogged up my water filters in just 2 days. This appears to have been a former KOA and it has potential but needs a lot of work. This park is good if you have no other option or if you are pulling in for a quick stop off the interstate. If you have a large rig I would avoid this location.

This is a great place, quiet and friendly with an actual clean dog park and it even has a dog wash station 😳
Conveniently located directly off of I-20 yet we have been here for a couple weeks and never hear the highway noise. There is the occasional plane from the local airport but those we rarely hear at night and it isn't terrible.
Highly recommend this place as it will be our go-to for future stops here for sure!
Note: this is not a "resort" but it is close to everything you need and well kept and maintained.

Unfortunately we checked in after office hours (12:00) on Saturday. Spot 20, long trip and new to travel trailers, we arrive, had no envelope waiting, the spot had an issue with power port. So we tried until midnight to get power. No one to contact for help. We slept in our truck at the office. Booked for 2 nights, as I had nowhere to take the RV until Monday. NO return call from any staff, no power so no hot water and no stabilizer. I basically paid 86 bucks to get snide looks from other guests and a place to wash laundry which I paid for on top of the 86. It looked like a really nice rv park with great amenities. Id have loved to been able to enjoy. Instead it was a stressful 2 days with no power sleeping in a truck. Oh well better luck next time
*** it was a very unfortunate situation. I don't want to be sure that our experience very disappointed. However things happen an I was just unlucky enough to have to find a place on the weekend and it only added to a very long exhausting few days leading up to an even worse ending.
You do have a very clean, tranquil and beautiful park. The showers were amazing and a nicely done clubhouse I took advantage of the well kept laundry facility. I felt safe and despite the location being right on the interstate, it felt hidden and tucked away from noise. You have a beautiful park. Unfortunately I have terminal heart failure and after the ordeal I sold the rv. But I'd recommend to others

Quiet park. Easy on/off to the freeway. We could not hear freeway noise. Gravel sites were very level. Water pressure was great. Office staff were friendly and extremely helpful. There were a lot of long term residents, but their sites were clean and well maintained. Shopping and restaurants were close. Sites were long enough that we did not have to disconnect our towed vehicle.
