This campground is in a convenient location and provides decent basic services. With just a little effort it could be so much better and provide an enjoyable stay. The sites appear to never have leaves and debris removed. It appears there is a renovation project that has stalled. The main office building needs painting. The women’s restroom was clean but half of the soap dispensers, half of the paper towel dispensers, and the trash can were broken. The dog park is an amenity that could also be very nice if it were maintained.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Above-and-Beyond Kindness During a Storm at Shreveport–Bossier City KOA
My stay at Shreveport-Bossier City KOA is one I will never forget—and not just because of the weather. I arrived in the middle of a major thunderstorm, tired, soaked, and without a reservation, and the team here quite literally came to my rescue. What could have been a stressful, even dangerous night turned into a powerful reminder of how much kindness and professionalism matter on the road.
Despite being full, they made room for me in a non-traditional overflow space, ensuring I had a safe place to park during the storm. And it didn’t stop there. Staff members went above and beyond—helping with cables, connections, setup, and troubleshooting everything imaginable—all while rain poured down. Their calm, can-do attitude and genuine concern made all the difference. It wasn’t just customer service; it was human decency at its finest.
The campground itself is welcoming and well cared for, but what truly sets this KOA apart is the people. They treated me with patience, warmth, and respect at a moment when I really needed it. Bella and I both felt secure and cared for, which says everything. In the RV world, situations like storms and last-minute arrivals happen—and knowing there’s a place like this with a team willing to step up means the world.
I am deeply grateful to the staff at Shreveport–Bossier City KOA for their generosity, flexibility, and compassion. If you’re traveling through Louisiana and want a campground that truly has your back—especially when conditions get tough—this KOA is an absolute standout. I can’t thank them enough, and I’ll always remember the night they turned a storm into a safe harbor. 🌧️🚐🐾✨

We stayed here for 2 months. The grounds were beautiful and really well kept. The service was impeccable. My only complaint were the washers but I was still able to take care of a family of 4. The kids loved the pool and play area! Definitely recommend staying here !

Great location. It’s close to the interstate, restaurants, gas stations and shopping. The RV park is spacious. I appreciated all the amenities like a dog park, playground, picnic tables, grill, pool and gift shop.

We stayed overnight in one of the Deluxe Cabins and were beyond impressed. Everything was spotless—honestly cleaner than most hotel rooms we’ve stayed in. We rented the linens, towels, and blankets, and everything was fresh and well-kept.
The amenities were fantastic. The pool was clean and inviting, perfect for a quick swim after a long day. The playground equipment looked brand new, which made it a hit with the kids. And the dog park? Huge win. It was spacious, shady, and thoughtfully designed with plenty of things to keep our pup entertained.
This KOA was the perfect mix of comfort and convenience.
