What Guests Are Saying
Hidden Ponds RV Park features a helpful and responsive office staff, particularly Christina and Danica, who are praised for their assistance. However, guests have reported issues with the park's condition, including inadequate Wi-Fi, poorly maintained cabins, and problems with reservations and refunds. Many former visitors advise against staying here due to management and maintenance concerns, as well as negative experiences related to accommodations and customer service.

The office staff is wonderful. Christina and Danica are always available and will respond in a timely manner to take care of any issues you may have. Great place to stay. They do however, need to upgrade, or something, to take care of their wifi issue.

We stopped staying here a while back because of how bad it has gotten. Run down. The management is really bad. Zero refunds, no matter the situation (your fault or theirs). Don’t be fooled into thinking one side of the park is better than the other. And the cabins aren’t worth it either. All of our coworkers have tried staying at one point and opted to not do it again. Just do yourself a favor and don’t. Lots of other good options in the area!
*Let me clarify for you: I stayed there in an RV every time. Our coworkers in RVs and cabins. The reservations were always in my husband’s name so you wouldn’t find my name. I’m happy to dig thru taxes and find receipts but my review stays the same.

We stayed in a cabin for a week the first night we got in, it was 30 degrees outside and there was no heater in there which caused it to be freezing inside as well, the front office was closed and there was no number we could call. We have a 3 month old baby, who we had to keep bundled up like she was still outside, just to keep her warm, There was no way we could sleep like that, so we left to go buy heaters for the cabin. The next morning we called and were told, they were supposed to have heaters in there and they weren’t sure why ours didn’t. Staff should’ve checked that before giving us the cabin. They ended up giving us a heater but at that point we had already spent unnecessary money on our own heaters that should’ve been provided in the first place. We were also told we would get our deposit back once we left. 3 days into staying there our trash was full, I called the office requesting another trash bag to then I was told, we don’t get new ones and they replace them when we leave. The day before we left, I called asking if there was anything that needed to be done before we left (which I shouldn’t even have to call, it should’ve been stated when we booked the cabin) & they said just make sure the trash is picked up. We picked up all the trash, n had an empty diapers box that we put the rest of the trash that wouldn’t fit in the trash cans in. When we left we called and nobody answered so we left a message stating the condition we left the room in to make sure we would still get our deposit back, if not we would go back and fix it to their standards. Never got a call back, so we called today and they told us, we weren’t getting our deposit back because “We had a huggies box with trash left in it” which is just unbelievable to me, considering 1. We get one trash bag that’s supposed to last us our whole stay 2. I called and asked if anything needed to be done when they should’ve told us that from the start 3. We had the decency to pick up and put all our trash in a box instead of just leaving it lying around. I would not recommend staying here.

We stayed on the west side of the park which is not like the pictures to start. I drove without the camper to pick out a spot before making the trip. (6hr round trip) I picked one called to reserve and wanted to pay that day. The lady said there was no need to pay and it was a guarantee reservation no need to worry. Showed up and spot was taken. Called to complain and she said I could pick any spot as long as there wasn't a reservation for the spot. As if that mattered since it didnt work for my reservation. Which is what I told her and she followed that with what do you expect us to do? Stand im the spot throughout the night and make sure no one pulls in. We have been traveling and staying im campgrounds since 2014 and never has such a thing happened. Despite that they keep the grass cut on the main park but let the grass get to your knees on the west side between every cutting. Packages must be delivered to the office which is only located on the main park side so you have to drive to get them. Only stayed because every other park was full.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!
As for the lactation, it’s very close to the refineries and that was a selling point for us.
Now for the actual stay. The cabin never cooled off under 85 degrees, was very very hot. We bought fans, that didn’t help. Was still extremely hot even at 10pm in the night so We and our 4 kids slept in the car because it was still way to hot. Spoke to the front office and the maintenance man, who actually confirmed that it was blazing in our cabin and actually said that the units would not cool that big of a cabin enough to occupy. We were told by the front desk quote “well you were the ones that wanted to rent the cabin” BUT we thought of course it would cool off by that night but never did. We found a different place to stay and asked to just pay for the night and to please get a refund for the remaining amount. All to find out that we actually spent $791.20 on this said cabin instead of $600!!!!! So that’s an $100 deposit plus an extra $91 added. And that a email had to sent out before we could receive a refund and it would take days if we ever even got the money back!!!! Are you kidding me????? Not to even mention that there were multiple rotten spots in the floors and something wrong with the shower water. We work hard for our money and are honest people this is highway robbery and insanity. Now we out that money plus extra for the new rental we had to find to be able to stay for work.
