We just returned from a magical stay at Blue Heron Farm, and I honestly wish I could give more than 5 stars. Everything about this bed and breakfast felt deeply thoughtful and full of care.

The food alone was worth the trip — the Korean short ribs, slow-cooked all day, were absolutely unforgettable. The property is spotless, beautifully maintained, and set right along a quiet river. We borrowed their canoe and had a gorgeous trip upriver, completely surrounded by nature.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, the grounds were stunning, and the entire atmosphere was peaceful and romantic — the kind of quiet you can actually feel. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality of the owners. They’ve poured their hearts into this place, taking wonderful care of both the land and their guests. They were warm, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating, while also giving us plenty of privacy to just relax and soak it all in.

Blue Heron Farm is more than just a place to stay — it’s an experience. We left feeling rested, cared for, and already dreaming of coming back.

We cannot say enough good things about our three night stay at the beautiful Blue Heron Farm. We entered as strangers and left as family due to Mason and Christina’s wonderful hospitality, kindness, and thoughtfulness! Our accommodations were well-appointed (they’ve thought of every detail), impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable. The grounds are stunning, quiet, and full of ways to relax and reconnect with nature. And the food is crazy delicious, beautifully presented, and the type where you savor every morsel. We have stayed at many wonderful B&Bs over the years, but this one tops the list and exceeded our expectations in every way. We are already checking our calendar to see when we can return. Thank you, friends, for a wonderful and memorable stay!!

The most wonderful place to spend the weekend or week days. Top rated hospitality and the most amazing food cooked from local business. The owners have thought about every little detail you might need. The two cabins and the two glam tents have their own private bathroom close by and all your needs are supplied. Breakfast is included with your night stay and it’s top notch to say the least. It was amazing to come up to the barn and see a tray labeled with your accommodation all set up with your coffee and hot water if you’re a tea drinker all set out. When you’re ready for breakfast they cook it after telling you what they have planned for that day. You can have all or any part of what’s they had planned your choice. We also decided to experience their Friday burger night and Saturday night four course dinner when we made our reservation as they are extremely hard to get unless you make them early as they are also open to the public on both nights. I’m so looking forward to stay in the near future. Just love this place ❤️

We spent 7 nights and had the most amazing time. Mason and Christina were great hosts, not to mention fantastic cooks. I highly recommend the Friday and Saturday dinners. We stayed in one of the “glamping” tents and it was so comfortable. There is a nice heater that kept us cozy all night long. It was so peaceful at night with great star gazing opportunities. The bed was really comfortable and we truly got some of the best sleep of our lives. Evening campfires, kayaking on the river, fishing and the farm animals made it a week of relaxation to remember. Looking forward to our next visit. Thanks again.

Spent two nights at this amazing tranquil retreat. The owners have thought of every detail to make your stay comfortable. Once at your cabin or tent you are completely in a private space to enjoy. The grounds have ample seating & lounge furniture along the river. Canoes & kayaks are waiting for you to take them to explore. On top of that the breakfast & dinner selections were outstanding & very delicious! Dining by the river was a lovely experience, as was breakfast in the well appointed barn.
Can’t forget all the animals! It was fun to get to learn all about them!
Thank you Christina & Mason. You are warm & wonderful hosts. Your hard work has created an inviting & relaxing property!
We will be back!
