Excellent location, quiet but close to the main road going into Bar Harbor. Staff were all very pleasant. Showers and bathrooms were very clean. We stayed in a tent site with water and electric, and while our neighbors were a bit close, it didn't bother us at all. The site was great, and a good size. Store was convenient for ice and wood and other last minute items. Would definitely stay here again!

I can't say enough about how nice this campground is!!! They are organized, helpful, and friendly!! The campground is so nice and peaceful. The sites were a little small, but we have a small camper and no one was next to us, so it worked fine for us. The bathrooms were immaculate ALL the time, as were the showers. The showers cost .50 cents for 7 minutes, but the water is hot and the pressure is great! We had plenty of quarters, so it was ok. The pool is also nice and clean. There is a playground, but our kids are too big for that, so no opinion on that. It was just so pleasant staying there, and if we were closer, we would camp there again and again!!

As a military family who has traveled all over the country in our travel trailer and frequently stops outside National Parks, I like to leave honest reviews for those doing that same! Hadley’s Point had availability in June when we booked 4 weeks out so that is the main reason why we chose it.
Here were the pros and cons of our stay…
Pros:
-The kids loved the pool, it was clean and a good size! Total highlight!
- The campground was very close to the park, maybe a 12 minute drive.
- The outside grounds crew was very friendly!
- Everything was well maintained (bathrooms, general store, etc.)
Cons:
- You have to pay to use the showers (which we have rarely encountered at campsites before- quite unusual) and half the time the water was freezing cold. (Nothing like getting totally undressed, putting in the money, and then having freezing water).
- They are inflexible with checkout times and unwilling to work with you.
- Our site in loop D was very small and super close to the neighbors, they were basically sitting in our driveway (I’ll share a picture).
Overall we had a good experience, if we ever go back to Maine we would likely try another campground but wouldn’t be opposed to staying at Hadley’s Point again either.

This campground was excellent. We stayed in a traditional tent space and really enjoyed our four nights here. The sites are spacious with plenty of privacy between each. The bathrooms and the showers were SPOTLESS -- almost like staying in a hotel. We also did a load of laundry and the washer/driers were quick, and reasonably priced. And even though there were other people there, we barely heard them. Our toddler enjoyed the playground. My only complaint was that the pool wasn't open yet (on June 13) and that was a little disappointing but we made due. I also like that it's far enough away from Bar Harbor to feel separate from the town but only like 5 miles away from Acadia National Park. So everything was easy to get to. I was so impressed! If we were to ever go to Acadia again, we would definitely stay here!

This is a nice campground. The bathrooms and showers are very nice and are kept very clean. Showers are paid but at a very reasonable rate (50¢/7 min). The toilet paper in the bathrooms isn't great quality (like most public bathrooms), so maybe bring your own roll if that's important to you. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We booked a wooded tent site. Our site was relatively small but fit our equipment. The sites here aren't very private and we could hear a lot of noise from kids playing and vehicles, but it wasn't a huge deal. The location is very convenient for visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia NP.
