If you want to get in touch with nature again, crave peace and quiet, and time for your own thoughts, this is it! I woke up to the call of the loons and an inspirational, glistening lake view.
Having morning coffee on the dock, hiking with my dog, and enjoying a good book in solitude while sitting outside made up my days. A highlight of my visit was taking an early morning boat trip with Glen, the host and also a Maine guide, in search of wildlife. We saw, loons, a bald eagle, a moose, and a great blue heroin. The hosts, Holly and Glen, were very accommodating. I’m planning my next trip back!

A truly unique experience! Off the grid, down 7 miles of logging roads, and you come to the only camp on the entire lake (called a pond but it's a big, well stocked lake which moose and loons appreciate!). Management is kind and available to help in any way. Cabins aren't close to each other and are super rustic but just bring your food and flashlights, and expect peace and beauty.

What a beautiful place! Don't get me wrong it's a bit of a hike and definitely on the remote side. But it is absolutely beautiful, my fiance and I were able to go for just a short 2 night trip and we wish we could have stayed longer. The cabins are clean, the lake is beautiful, and we saw 2 moose in the first 2 hours we were there! The hosts were kind and knowledgeable, definitely some where we want to go back to!

Spencer Pond Camps is a slice of heaven. There are no other camps on the pond, so it had the seclusion I was looking for. The cabins are close to the water for beautiful views. I began every morning with a kayak trip on the pond and saw lots of wildlife. Hosts are super helpful, and you can get a really good massage on site!
