Pulling up to the gate shack, we were excited. The gentleman who greeted up was super friendly and bubbly, and gave us a reusable bag with maps and local event information.

But, with all the accolades online and at the facility, we were expecting better. The brewery is nice, not enough seafood offerings for being so close to the shore IMO.
RV camping was a bit cramped. We never could locate the dog park listed on the map, which would have been great as there are minimal grassy areas.
The bathrooms were absolutely adorable on the outside. The showers are large which is nice, and the addition of bathmats being provided is a definite plus. Unfortunately, the showers have next to no water pressure, and if somebody runs any other water, flushes or starts the washer, pressure goes to a trickle. Worst of all, the bathrooms were dirty. Trash was overly full, showers need a good scrub, toilets were both dirty (attaching one of the gel things to the inside doesn’t mean it cleans itself. Top of the toilet tank (where the flush mechanism is located) was dusty and grimy. The doors were all covered with dirty handprints.
And good scrub down would have bumped our rating a star for sure.

Went here after trying one of their IPAs at Coastal Maine Botanical Garden. Was very smooth and citrusy. Took the short drive over to see this humble warm set up. Outdoor seating, open air seating under a patio roof, live events stage, and an amazing looking bar counter area in the restaurant!!! Good pit stop!!!

We enjoyed Boothbay Brewery. The brewery was really cool. The inside was amazing as was the service, food, and beer. It was a little cool with the breeze, so we did not sit outside but that area looked awesome too and it was dog friendly. We found the secret door but unfortunately the speakeasy was closed.

The place was busy during our visit but they had plenty of staff and our food arrived quickly. Our pizza was cooked perfectly. We ended up placing a second order and it arrived just as good and as quick.

If we find ourselves in this part of the country again we would definitely visit again.

When we were in Boothbay, Maine, we were in a bit of a bind—our Tesla was running low on charge with no Superchargers nearby. We were so relieved to find that Boothbay Craft Brewery Tavern & RV had a destination charger! It was late, and the kitchen was closed, but the staff still warmly welcomed us in for drinks.
I have to give a huge shout-out to the person we spoke with (I believe he was one of the owners). We were anxious about leaving the car to charge overnight since our cabin was a 10-minute drive away, but he was incredibly kind and reassured us that it would be completely safe. His kindness and hospitality made a world of difference. The tavern itself is beautiful, with a fantastic atmosphere. I wish I could have gone back to say a proper thank you, but I wanted to make sure I shared our wonderful experience. This place is a gem, and I highly recommend a visit if you're in the area!

Great beer and food. Family friendly atmosphere and good service.
They had outdoor seating at picnic tables and regular tables. Would absolutely recommend and will return next time we are in the area!
