Four Acre Woods Campground

This might be the best camp site I've stayed at. They've thought of everything. It has outlets and water that is convenient yet out of the way. The site is covered in mulch that makes tent stakes go in easy. While there isn't two-car parking on the site, the overflow is nearby. The firewood is plentiful and reasonably priced. The community room has real cups and coffee and tea and games. The bathrooms are very clean, have running hot water, and a shower. There is a sauna that is well maintained (except the cold outdoor shower, the pole falls down, watch out for that). Would come here over and over again.

We found Four Acre Woods purely by chance on our way home from a trip to Nova Scotia with our small camper trailer. We had not reserved a campsite, and Caleb kindly welcomed us when we phoned. We were charmed by the place and returned the next September. Sweet spot.

The perfect place to be in Deer Isle. Lovely campground where you feel welcome and can relax enjoying the simplicity of the isle. People are sweet, the hosts is awsome and a kayak guide. Tent sites, domes and other lodging are avavailables. You can also reserve the sauna and massages sessions. Nearby a lot of beaches and cool spot to see the sunset. We will go again for sure and recommend it to everyone who take the time to enjoy the happiness of small things in life. Coup de coeur ❤️

This is THE place to camp on Deer Isle. Super well-curated and maintained. The campsite itself offers numerous excellent touches to keep you happy and entertained. Of course, the access to all that Deer Isle has to offer is the reason to be here, but make sure to enjoy the amenities of the campground as well. We had a fantastic stay at the Octopus Coral site, which is one of the tenting-specific sites. Easy access to clean bathrooms and showers, garbage/recycling, fresh water, laundry, and dish washing station. You name it, it was there to make your time at the campground easy and comfortable. Can't recommend this place enough.

Splendid and outstanding! Caleb, Jeremy, Willow, River are all the greatest humans. Their hospitality and friendliness is super appreciated. We had the privilege of staying in one of the geodesic dome tents and it was amazing. Super comfy and tastefully furnished. The bathrooms were meticulously clean and we really enjoyed the comforts of the community cabin for hanging out. Perhaps the best part was how quiet the campground was even with it fully booked. Super relaxing and calming to be able to enjoy nature in a quiet and peaceful space.
