Colonial Mast Campground

We only spent Thanksgiving night. Chris was so very friendly and helpful. I am looking forward to spending more time at Colonial Mast. Everything was exceptionally clean, well maintained, cozy, and inviting! The Lodge was decorated for the holidays with a very tall tree with a few simple items to make it just right for the environment. I told Chris that my sister had a bad knee and she put us right next to the lodge. Closer than I expected. Site 97A was better than perfect for 2 people with mobility issues. My brother also loved that site for winter camping. Next time that I'm there I'm definitely getting into the pool! Thank you again Chris. Happy Holidays!

I’d give more stars if I could. I’ve been coming to Colonial Mast Campground for years, and it truly feels like a second home. The warmth of the people, the peacefulness of the lake, and the spotless grounds make every visit special. And when you hear the call of the loons on a still summer morning, you’ll understand why this place captures your heart.

We stayed at colonial mast for 4 nights this October. Great campground right on the lake. Awesome heated pool and hot tub. We rented a canoe and went for a paddle on the lake. Really nice.. we will def be back!

We booked a pool party for my daughter's 6th birthday... place was clean, and great atmosphere, although a bit hot... our party was piggy backed on another party, so I was unable to set up while the kids were swimming, as the other party was in the lodge... and then I was having to decorate and set up as the kids all were just sitting and waiting and then our second hour felt very rushed to do everything because I spent 15 mins of it setting stuff up, and then to get through food, cake, and gifts, we didn't have time to do the other activity we had planned... so that was alittle unfortunate, but knowing that all now I would plan more accordingly for future parties if we did it again... I loved that they had life vest, toys, noodles, and goggles for us to use while there! Sarah was the staff member on site and she was very nice, and attentive.

Best camping experience yet!! From the moment we signed in to the moment we left was an awesome experience!

The off season office is beautiful with chairs to sit around the fireplace. The lady at the checkin desk was very welcoming and super polite. She answered all of my questions and told me where to go.

I reserved a space next to the beach and when I got to the area, the owners were there to greet me and to help me out with backing up the trailer if I needed it since it was a tighter area to get into. The guy even gave me pointers on hooking up the camper better for a more weight balanced ride(this was my first time pulling a camper and his tips helped A LOT when I went to leave at the end of my stay).

The beach area was gorgeous. If it was during warmer weather I would have definitely went for a swim!

Cant say enough about our wonderful experience!!

Will definitely be back when I visit next time!!
