Arndt’s Aroostook River Lodge & Campground is a beautifully maintained, family-owned campground with spacious RV sites offering stunning river views and a friendly atmosphere. Guests appreciate the clean facilities, refreshing pool, and well-kept grounds, as well as the accommodating staff. While there are some challenges for larger RVs due to narrow roads and occasional noise from lawn maintenance, many visitors express a desire to return for future stays.

Well maintained, beautiful campground. Sites were easy to pull into with plenty of room. The owner Scott is friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this campground. They also have beautiful handmade log cabins for rent.

Very friendly family owned RV Park with a great view of across the river. Very quiet.
Can be a little challenging for 45ft class A Motorcoach with narrow roads and low hanging branches.
Just about everything you need in town a few minutes away.

Andrew and I, along with our friends Christine and Chad, recently stayed at Arndt's Aroostook River Lodge from July 25th to August 1st. It was our first time, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The RV sites offered amazing views, and the staff was very friendly. The campground was clean, the pool was a refreshing treat, and the laundry room was also well-maintained. We also loved exploring the ATV trails! We'll definitely be back next summer. Thank you for having us!

I spent several nights here on my visit to Presque Isle. The setting is absolutely gorgeous and the campground is meticulously maintained. If you get the right site, you'll have spectacular views of some magnificent sunsets. Staff were friendly and accommodating which I appreciated. My one complaint was the constant lawn mowing. I understand the heavy rains preceding my visit made for some "fields" but I do prefer more quiet. It might be something to consider if you are sensitive to noise. That said, I will definitely return.

Camped here for a night and had a wonderful stay.
I had a long day of cycling to get here so when I finally arrived I was exhausted. Athena was very nice and checked me in quickly and got me some water. We got to chatting and she roped in the owners, Clare and Bob(?) and we all chatted for a good while. They were all super friendly and it was amazing to just rest and hang out with some people after a long day of riding. Clare even donated to my charity fundraiser, which was unexpected but obviously much appreciated.
My spot was a bit up the road tucked in between some large trees which provided plenty of shade and cover. The ground was soft and just right for my tent stakes. It was also close enough to other campers to be comfortable without infringing on their space or mine.
The bath house facilities were nice and clean, with plenty of toilets, sinks, and showers. The shower got plenty hot. There is also a pool which didn't seem heated, so it was a little chilly, but even late in the season (end of August) it was comfortable.
The campground is on a decent hill, making for great sunsets looking towards the camp entrance. There was a balloon festival the morning I left, so that was a nice little bonus.
