Huttopia Southern Maine

I cannot wait to come back! I was looking for a low key and relaxing getaway. At the end of September, it doesn't get much more chill than this beautiful spot. The "tents" are incredible, bath house is spotless, hammocks and dock and perfect. It's only 30 min away from gorgeous beaches!
Next year, I may bring some friends with me ... Or I might just come back and enjoy having the place to myself again.

We had a wonderful stay here for 5 nights in one of the cabins- family of 4 with an 11 year old and 15 year old. We opted for a larger cabin built for 5 so we would have some extra room and it worked out perfectly. The cabin itself was adorable and had everything we needed. The only small issue was that we were the first cabin off the parking lot and it was very noisy with all the foot traffic to and from the lot, especially the carts rolling by at all hours (including late night and very early morning- 6am!). It made it a little hard to just enjoy being in the beautiful natural setting when there was so much noise. Other than that, Huttopia is a dream setting. Conveniently located in Maine by everything in the Wells area. We didn't spend a ton of time on-site as we were exploring each day but I wish we had more time. I would have loved to take a canoe out or be in the pool more. The main lodge is a beautiful space. We will likely stay here again or at one of the other locations.

First time at huttopia. Very kid- friendly. Almost all campers have kids. Our kids had a blast swimming in the pool, seeing fishes in the pond, and camp fire. Great experience overall. Could be crowded in holiday weekend and feeling understaffed. Awesome to have EV charging on site but unfortunately it was taken by regular cars or cars not charging. Would be nice to label the space “park while charging” clearly.

We stayed here at the beginning of August and had a wonderful time. At first, we had a few issues with our accomodation but the manager was very helpful and quick to offer a solution. Thanks again, Margot!! 😊

The staff is very friendly and we really enjoyed the pool, the food and the activities offered at the welcome center. Our tent was comfy and we loved the location, which allowed us to enjoy the quietness of the woods while still being not too far from key spots and attractions nearby. We will come back next year surely! ☀️

We stayed from Saturday to Wednesday in a vista. Accommodations were comfortable. The screened in deck and ability to open doors made the front of the vista more open. Bedrooms were tight but beds were very comfortable. It was very hot when we went but they provide a fan and we brought our own. Kitchen was supplied with all the basics and a full size grill was outside which was very clean. We spent time at the playground in the morning but it got too hot to use later in the morning. The pool was fun and never crowded and the activities/shows provided were fun! The beach at the lake was very small and could use more places for families to sit but water was clean and docks were fun to swim out to!
